What are the main authorizations to operate in the DR ?
- Obtaining the Mercantile Registry before the corresponding Chamber of Commerce and Production
- Registration in the National Taxpayer Registry before the DGII
- Obtaining the Environmental license or permit from the Ministry of theEnvironment (which is issued based on the operation to be carried out by theapplicant and according to the type of environmental impact)
- Obtaining certification of no objection to land use by the correspondingmunicipal council (for urbanization projects)
- Obtaining the construction license from the Ministry of Public Works andCommunications (in the case of civil works)
- Obtaining the sanitary permit from the Ministry of Public Health (in the case offood, beverage, drug, cosmetic, personal hygiene and household products,sanitary products industries)
- Certifications of special regimes (Free Zones, Industrial Qualification,CONFOTUR)
- Operating permits before competent authorities for regulated companies(energy, mines, financial intermediation, telecommunications, insurance, etc.)
- Product import permits before competent authorities (when applicable)
